Rising Kites

Hi friends, 

Thank you for being here. As many of you know, March is a big month for our Down syndrome community. On 3/21 we celebrate our homies with their extra 21st chromosomes & all the light, joy, + hope they bring to our world. We rock our fun socks. We shout their worth. We raise funds. This year, in the weeks approaching 3/21, we are raising funds in support of one of our favorite non profits- Rising Kites. There is so much I could say about the love + support Rising Kites offers families within the Down syndrome community. They provide connection + resources to families who have recently received a DS diagnosis. Additionally, Rising Kites recently opened a beautiful physical location that will serve as a meeting place for families like ours to connect and find support, as well as a coffee shop that will hire folx with disabilities. They grow beautiful flowers. They love people well. & They fiercely advocate for our community. Rising Kites has a fundraising goal of $75,000 this March. Our little family is aiming to help raise $1000 of that. Please help us reach our goal. I never know quite how much to ask for, but I know our community to be an incredibly generous one. Thank you friends. Your love for our girl and this community continues to be felt deeply.
