Rider FAQ
Can I view or download the route for the different lengths of the rides?
Yes. We have all routes loaded in RideWithGPS:
- Short ride, 20 miles: CHFC.us/RideGPSshort
- Medium ride, 40 miles: CHFC.us/RideGPSmedium
- Main ride, 66 miles (embedded below as well): CHFC.us/RideGPS ***UPDATE: This route has had a major update at 10:11pm, Friday night. If you loaded it to your bike computer or printed it prior to 10:11pm Friday, May 13th, you do not have the most recent route.***
Will there be support for the ride?
Yes. Please dial 856-600-6514 if you need help. (Texting will not work) A support vehicle will be dispatched to you to either fix your problem or transport you back to the ride’s start.
Will there be rest stops?
Yes. There will be a rest stop that each route will run through. Expect water, snacks and portable facilities. The address nearest the field where we’ll stop is:
Springfield Twp Veteran's Memorial Park, 17 Island Rd, Jobstown, NJ 08041 Please note: this is an address to the home accross the street, as the ball field itself doesn’t seem to have one listed. The rest stop is not someone’s home. Please don’t ring/knock on their door.
Do we start and stop at the same place?
Yes. All the routes are circular and you will start and stop at Budds KnP Farm. There is an amazing country store and market here as well. The start point is in Pemberton, NJ, 08068.
Where can we park?
Budds KnP has parking for us, straight back through the entrance.
What time does the ride begin?
The ride will begin at 8:30 am, but you are encouraged to arrive earlier to prepare your gear and grab a bite to eat before getting in the saddle.
How do I fund raise?
After registering, you will be taken directly to the campaign creation page to begin collecting sponsorships for your ride. If you’re not planning to ride, you may visit the Cycling for Care donation page where you may donate and also start your own fundraiser by selecting “I want to fundraise for this campaign."
I’m not yet sure if I can make it, what’s the deadline to register?
We’ll be keeping registration open until the ride ends. So feel free to register whenever is convenient. If you end up not making it, consider making a donation to support the cause, and even starting your own fundraiser.
What’s your plan if it rains?
We’re riding rain or shine. Extra fun if it rains. 😉
