When I grow up I want to be a...carpenter

Richadson came to our home in 2020 with his brother, Wilbensley. They both were under the care of their grandmother who did not have the means to care for them any longer, so we welcomed them into our family. The boys were very excited that we had soccer balls. Richadson is always smiling and loves to laugh. He has a challenging time with school, but with the help of tutors and his older brothers at the orphanage, he is doing okay.

In his free time, he loves playing soccer, using his creativity to build things, and lending a hand to the older boys with their projects. He is always eager to be involved and takes pride in being part of the team. One of his most endearing qualities is his kindness and gratitude—he never forgets to say "please" and "thank you," and he genuinely lights up when receiving attention from our visiting mission teams.

Over the past couple of years, we’ve seen him grow into a more responsible and dependable young boy. He has shown a remarkable willingness to help in any way he can, often stepping up without being asked and embracing new responsibilities with a positive attitude.

We continue to pray that he comes to know God deeply and personally—that he may fully understand and accept His unconditional love and grace. Our hope is that his heart remains open to the joy and peace that come from walking in faith.
