Rhinebeck Writers Retreat exists to serve musical theatre writers by addressing a critical need in the long process of developing new musicals: dedicated time and resources to write together. Our two core programs - Summer Residencies and Triple R ("2 Readings and a Residency") - are unique because we cover 100% of the writers' costs, pay them a stipend, and set no deliverables. In other words, we offer artists the care and freedom to guide their own process and focus on their craft.
