Support Our Writers!

Rhinebeck Writers Retreat serves a unique role for musical theatre writers, in the long developmental process for their musicals. We give them a private home in the Hudson Valley countryside, where they live together for one week and do nothing but write. We ask for no money from our Rhinebeck Writers, take no share of future royalties, and give each artist a stipend.

We rely 100% on donors like you to cover all the writers' costs for their Hudson Valley residencies and for "Triple R" -- 2 readings and a residency. 

We are now accepting gifts of stock transfers. Donating appreciated stocks can be a tax-efficient way to make a charitable contribution. You can take the market value of the stock on the day of the transfer as your charitable deduction, and you can avoid capital gains tax on selling the stock. Check with your tax advisor first and, if interested, email us at info@rhinebeckwriters.org for instructions on stock transfers.
