Judge Luke Berger is running to retain his seat as District Court judge for the Fifth Judicial District, which encompasses Beaverhead, Jefferson, and Madison counties.  Judge Berger was unanimously recommended by the judicial nomination committee,  appointed by the Governor, and unanimously confirmed by the Montana Senate to fill the remaining two years of Judge Loren Tucker's term.  He is now running for a six-year term.
