We need your help to ensure our community kitchens remain open.
We have two kitchens in the Nusriet area that are open daily. Each kitchen costs around $1500 daily—all funds go towards food. Depending on the meal, between 600 and 1000 people are served daily. This means, on average, we feed about 1200-2000 people daily.
These kitchens are a lifeline for displaced people who would otherwise have no access to food. In a time when starvation is being used as a weapon of genocide, resistance takes the form of feeding the very people being targeted.
In addition to our two daily kitchens, we deliver baby formula and bags of fresh fruits and vegetables to hospital patients twice a week.
The number of people we reach is wholly dependent on the material solidarity of people all over the world. We ask that you stand with us in our mission to nourish our people and resist with us by helping us keep our kitchens open. Your contribution can make a significant difference in the lives of so many people. Together, we can remain steadfast and protect life in the face of total destruction.
== About This Project ==
While this project is organized by a group of people worldwide, it is led and driven by the people on the ground choosing to show up and support their community. At the same time, they also live through the most horrific violence the world has witnessed.
The team uses your generous donations to purchase whatever is available on the market and redistributes it to the rest of the community. Because of the ongoing violence, collective kitchens have proven to be one of the most efficient and impactful ways to support the community.
