Request for Urgent Flood Assistance: Okara, Pakistan

Large parts of district Okara in Pakistan have been submerged as the river Sutlej began to overflow about two weeks ago. Ever since, the water level is only increasing, rendering hundreds of villages submerged, hundreds of thousands of acres of standing crops destroyed, and countless agri-animals dead. We are currently trying to support two of our accountapreneurs, Imtiaz Watto and Asifa Khan from Okara to raise funds to provide food assistance, clean drinking water, essential medicine, and hygiene kits to some 100-150 families. Imtiaz and his local CSO, FACE, is currently aiming to raise USD 10,000-15000. We are trying our best to mobilize as much help (both cash and in-kind) as possible. I am reaching out to you for any possible assistance in terms of helping us connect with potential funders and donors who can readily assist with the relief work.
