Reproductive Justice in Adoption
Reproductive Justice in Adoption (RJiA) - a collective of people directly impacted by systems of family separation - creates comprehensive information, educational tools and opportunities, community-based resources, and peer-led support for pregnant people navigating the adoption industry where misinformation, disinformation, pressure, and coercion are rampant. With a deep commitment to reproductive justice values and abolitionist harm-reduction strategies, we believe all pregnant people must have access to informed consent, meaningful choice, and the resources and support necessary to make reproductive choices for themselves and their families without the threat of predatory private industry and state-sanctioned violence. We need your support to make this a reality! By donating to RJiA you are directly contributing to 1. Creating a central online hub for information, education, community-based resources, mutual aid, and peer-led support for pregnant people considering adoption. 2. Ongoing work with national, state, and regional organizations to improve their content, policy, and practices supporting pregnant people considering adoption; 3. Developing curriculum, training, and resources for frontline workers including healthcare, options counseling, birthwork, and legal professionals. Donations of all amounts are meaningful and impactful!
