Removing Barriers with Raven Cares

Raven Cares is a nonprofit organization committed to removing barriers that may hinder progress for those in recovery from substance use disorder.

Our program and facilities offer a safe, supportive environment for individuals continuing their recovery journey, with robust wraparound services to ensure success and sustainability as our guests re-enter the community, including:

• Financially assisting individuals seeking inpatient and outpatient treatment for alcohol and drug abuse
  
  
• Financially assisting individuals in recovery with costs associated with stable housing, healthcare, obtaining employment, educational costs, and childcare
  
  
• Financially assisting family members and loved ones who incur costs related to seeking a Casey law or involuntary treatment for a loved one who is abusing drugs or alcohol
  
  
• Providing educational and employment opportunities for individuals in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse
  
  
• Assisting individuals in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse with obtaining an expungement of any criminal record to assist that individual in obtaining employment
  
  
• Coordinating with community partners to establish a comprehensive re-entry program in Morehead, KY and the surrounding area
  
  
• Supporting individuals in active recovery from drug and alcohol abuse so that they can live productive and meaningful lives
  
  
• Educating community members on the familial, individual, and societal impact of alcohol and drug abuse; best practices for treatment of alcohol and drug abuse; and best practices for sustained recovery from alcohol and drug abuse
  
  
• Supporting proactive educational efforts to prevent alcohol and drug abuse
