Regional Resilience Network

The Mission of the Regional Resilience Network is to Improve the Resilience of the Regions in our Network.

  • Regional resilience is multifaceted and includes elements of ecological, economic, and social integrity.

  • Regions can be many sizes, can be nested within each other, like a county within a state, and can have overlapping boundaries, like a bioregion and a county.

  • Resilience is the ability of a region to bounce back from an impact, be it a sudden impact like a hurricane, a long slow impact like the biodiversity crisis, something in between like a global pandemic, or the pending transformation of society due to AI.

We are a 501(c)3 originally founded in 1999 as Conception Coast Project (EIN: 77-0486094) and then in 2019 changed our name to better support multiple regions.

We are the fiscal sponsor for the Linkage Mapper Projectsoftware and services for conserving wildlife habitat connectivity and Conception Coast Project, knowledge sharing for conserving and restoring the Santa Barbara Bioregion.

We made less than $50,000 in 2024 (https://apps.irs.gov/app/eos/details/), and our mailing address is:

33601 Simpson Road,

Fort Bragg, CA 95437
