Goal
For decades, West End House Camp has been an integral part of my life. As a boy, I made friendships there that remain many of my strongest bonds today. And I’m not a unique case. For nearly 120 years, WEHC has changed thousands of lives, one summer at a time. And we’re still going strong.
This August, I’m participating in the inaugural Red Barn Walk to raise funds for 2027 camperships. I’m walking alongside hundreds of West Enders across generations to show our commitment to the place that gave us, and others, so much.
The Red Barn at West End House Camp has always been a symbol of commitment. For decades, it was the turnaround point for Executive Director Bill Margolin’s daily runs before the camp awakened in the morning. More recently, it has become the iconic centerpiece of the Iron Man competition during Desert War - one of the summer's signature events. In every era, the Red Barn stands as a testament to the WEHC motto: “Always going through.”
In honor of nearly 120 years of this legacy, we are launching the first annual Red Barn Walk Fundraiser and I'd love your support. Donate what you can and help change a boy's life forever.
