Rebecca Ayres For Ohio Governor 2018 Election
Rebecca L. Ayres is running for Ohio governor in the upcoming primaries and general election. Her motto is "power by the people—not by the wealthy elite." Ms. Ayres is pioneering something never before achieved in electoral politics—to be funded by the people and not big interest groups. The reason for this approach is very important. Politicians are more than likely to implement policies that will benefit businesses and wealthy elite in the long run and appease the people in the short run. You don't want that because when a new governor is elected (much like with our presidency), they can scale back all the privileges that people were "allowed" to enjoy. You don't want to be "allowed" to be free. The people need to have enough independent power to "impose" their rights and freedoms.
This is the real balance of power---between the people and their government. If people had more independence, they could have the same (If not, greater) level of influence than even corporations. It is in fact businesses that keep people from their government. If you want an SBA loan for your business, you have to go through a corporation. If you want a student loan from the government, you have to go through a college. If you want an Federal Housing Administration (FHA) loan, you have to go through a bank---another corporation. Private enterprise is the standing in the way of all our independence as people because both we and the government depend on them to make everything in society work. And he who has the gold makes the rules. If you want to see how much power you have as a citizen, vote for Rebecca L. Ayres in this upcoming primary election. If you don't help her make it, there won't be a candidate in this Ohio governor's race who won't have any "strings attached", ruling the country from behind the scenes. Donate to her campaign because money means votes.
