Mark your calendars for the HRCCS 2025 Read-A-Thon: 

8AM, March 10, 2024 through 5pm, March 28, 2024!


Your Donation:

Your donation enables this reading event and it supports our students with a variety of educational enrichment opportunities.
Two years ago, we were able to put $7500 to use on awesome student activities.  
Last year, we were able to fund $5500 of Harvest Ridge's awesome student opportunities through this fundraiser.  
We'd love your support to continue providing those opportunities and more!
Contributions can also be made by check, made out to the HRCCS PTO, left in the office

Fees: 

We're charged no fee for contributions made by check.  

We're charged about 2% for credit card processing - thank you to those that choose to cover that fee!

  • # of Minutes Read
    • Schoolwide honors: the top 3 readers in the school, will have their names engraved on a plaque in the office, alongside last year's top readers!
    • The student with the most reading minutes in the school will win a personalized version of the Read-A-Thon Spirit Wear T-Shirt!
    • The top 2 readers in the school will vie for an $25 Amazon gift card via lottery or R.P.S.
    • The top 3 readers in each classroom will receive personalized medals for their Read-a-Thon ranks.
    • The top reader in each grade will win a $10 Pizza Express gift card.
    • Logging reading minutes for 3 days earns a raffle ticket, to be used at the end of the event for various exciting prizes in a live raffle.
  • # of Unique Sponsors per Student
    • A raffle ticket is ALSO earned for each person a student has secured a donation from.
    • A trip to the Prize Chest is earned for each donation a student has secured.
    • The student with the most donations in the school will win a personalized version of the Read-A-Thon Spirit Wear T-Shirt!
  • Donation $ on behalf of a student
    • Donations on behalf of a student allows them to shop for coveted prizes in the Read-A-Thon prize store!
    • The student with the top donation amount in the school will win a personalized version of the Read-A-Thon Spirit Wear T-Shirt!
    • The top 3 classrooms in donation amount will get to enjoy a choice of party: pizza, popsicles, or popcorn/movie.
