As a proud single mother and a product of HLPUSD, I have always been driven by a deep commitment to our students and our community. Over the past four years, I've worked tirelessly to bring innovative and transformative changes to our schools, ensuring our students have access to opportunities that will set them up for future success.

We’ve raised academic standards and introduced cutting-edge programs like the Youth Cinema Project and Aviation, giving students hands-on experience in fields that will prepare them for real-world careers. I was crucial in expanding programs like Conga Kids, C-STEM, and Speech and Debate, which provide a well-rounded education that enhances critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.

We’ve enhanced our curriculum and created a more inclusive and supportive environment where every student is inspired to thrive. As we look to the future, I am excited to continue the work we’ve started, pushing forward with programs that equip our students with the skills they need to succeed, and building pathways for every child to thrive.
