Goal
In late August, RAM announced that Executive Director and Curator of Collections Bruce W. Pepich will retire at the end of 2024. In celebration of his well-deserved retirement and 50 incredible years of service to the organization, the museum’s Board of Directors has established an ongoing Bruce W. Pepich Legacy Fund to underwrite care, conservation, and presentation of works in RAM’s collection. This fund will help honor and continue his work in developing the largest contemporary craft collection in North America, curating hundreds of world-class exhibitions, and maintaining a myriad of nationally recognized educational programs. Whether you earmark your gift to a specific component of RAM’s mission or contribute to his fund, your support is essential in sustaining Bruce’s legacy.
Pepich plans to remain as a consultant for permanent collection projects into 2025, ensuring the integrity of RAM’s collection during this transition of leadership. A nationwide search is underway for a new Executive Director whose tenure begins in early 2025.
RAM is also pleased to announce that the first $50,000 in any gifts received or postmarked between November 1 and December 31, 2024, will be matched by two generous funding partners:
David Charak
Ruffo Family Foundation
In addition to the Bruce W. Pepich Legacy Fund, this match will apply to any of the following: General donations to RAM, new or gift memberships to friends and loved ones, renewed memberships that lapsed prior to December 31, 2023, and GivingTuesday donations on December 3, 2024. GivingTuesday is a global movement that encourages generosity and is an integral part of RAM’s annual year-end campaign.
Thank you for considering RAM for your year-end philanthropy!
