Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:
''Whoever observes fasts during the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping to attain Allah's rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven''
Ramadan is the month that Muslims all over the world count down to each year, and a time that brings huge reward. It is the perfect time for us to sincerely seek forgiveness, reflect on our own blessings and give to those in need. It is a time for us to reflect on how fortunate and blessed we really are, and to experience a fraction of the suffering some of our brothers and sisters living in Afghanistan, experience every single day.
In Ramadan, many of us make the conscious decision to abstain from food during the daylight hours. However, the reality is very different for countless people in Afghanistan and around the world, who are forced to go hungry every single day. Millions will have no food for iftar and will continue to go hungry.
The Coronavirus pandemic and the Humanitarian crisis after the fall of Kabul, has left millions more without enough food to eat in Afghanistan, and without food, they struggle to stay safe and healthy.
This Ramadan, pay your Zakat for those most in need. Donate to our Ramadan Appeal 2023 and help the most vulnerable this year. Zakat is a beautiful obligation upon every adult, sane Muslim who owns wealth above the nisab value. You must pay 2,5% of your wealth to those most in need around the world. Your Zakat will save lives, create bright futures and help countless people in our home country escape the clutches of poverty.
Your Zakat can give a family living in poverty direct acces to clean water that can save their lives. It can provide food, shelter, acces to a sustainable income, education, healthcare and the ability to stay safe in Afghanistan. Your Zakat will literally give a family a new lease of life.
Don't hesitate, donate to our Ramadan Appeal now.
Last but not least, in our faith we are taught that in the month of Ramadan, the reward of every good deed is multiplied 70 times by Allah (SwT). This means every times we do an act of worship, make a generous donation or feed another, it will be as though we have done so 70 times. Don't miss out on the opportunities to have your rewards multiplied.
