Cities for Children - Ramadan 2026

After joining our playful learning sessions, young children told us, “We want to go to school every day!”

This Ramadan, we are working to make that a reality, by establishing “Dhanak” (Rainbow) early childhood micro-spaces in marginalised communities where children are at risk of being out of school.

This is our bold new vision for this year, based on global evidence that when children start early, they are more likely to learn, attend and stay in school. We have already run a beautiful successful pilot infused with creative programming, established strong roots in communities, and are ready for the next steps.

At Cities for Children, we believe every child deserves a childhood - the right to read and play in safety. Help us create nurturing spaces filled with colour, warmth and joy, where children love to learn!
