Raising Multicultural Kids

Please support our efforts to provide children with a multicultural education.  Our work helps students develop the skills necessary to identify and discuss racism, and can inspire them to become an ally in the fight against injustice.  A multicultural mindset not only helps prevent racial incidences in school but also teaches kids to be racially and culturally competent, so they are better able to navigate and celebrate different cultures. The ability to work with and understand different cultures is becoming more necessary for employment as the workforce becomes more diverse and the marketplace more global. RMK’s work will give all of our kids a leg up in this area and possibly prevent a mishap that could harm their academic or employment status, and more importantly prevent them from unintentionally harming another individual.
