Mission Statement :
Raíces Nuevas supports Garifuna youth in New Orleans by advocating for the tools and
resources they need to navigate challenges, embrace their cultural identity, and build
independent, fulfilling lives within a supportive community.

Vision Statement :
Our vision is that Garifuna youth can confidently exercise their individual and collective
right to participate and engage in a just society that grants them access to
self-determination, resources, and justice without discrimination.
