The commonality of experiences I share with RFM should not be surprising. I'm 65 years old. My family joined the church in 1975. I grew up in the North Carolina Appalachians. I got a little more of the high-school experience in Mormonism with early morning Seminary, a different critter out in the Mission. The Mission President was like the Stake President. The Branch President was like the Bishop. I remember reading a book about P.P.Pratt. It was a sepia brown, rather thick paper back. I wonder if that was the saame edition RFM had. Listening to RFM I'm able to occasionally smile at a few memories. Mormonism was a giant stone that crushed my life with reverberations that echo even today. It's strangely comforting to hear from a fellow pilgram though separated by miles and culture. Jeff Walker

At this Thanksgiving season, I'm grateful for the ex-mo podcasters.

Loved this episode of RFM and the devil. I have filtered life experiences through a Mormon lens plenty of times and doing a lot of work in therapy because of it. It's really helpful to hear other's similar experiences.
