As a long time athlete and Executive Director, I know first hand the value and importance of physical activity and the importance of it in a healthy mind and body. This balance not only has helped me in triathlons but also in my professional and personal life.  

I was attracted to being a board member of CYCLE Kids by their mission to help children succeed through the power of a bike. As an active board member for the past three years, I have had the opportunity to reach and positively impact the lives of thousands of children all over the US.

A Bike Can Take You Anywhere!

I am looking forward to attending the opening of a new CYCLE Kids program at a school in Brooklyn NY in October. I will be working together with other board members to build the bikes that will kick off the new program, and to meeting the PE teacher and the first class of CYCLE Kids children at that school.  

I know riding a bike can take you anywhere. It has taken me around the world to compete in 12 Ironman events to-date. I started my Ironman journey in 2011 at Ironman Arizona. 12 years later, I will be competing in my 12^th Ironman, which is why I am going back to where it started and racing in this year’s Ironman Arizona on November 18^th.  

Please help me celebrate this amazing journey and donate to help raise $25,000 to donate a CYCLE Kids program to a school in South Florida and expand the CYCLE Kids impact.

The program helps children gain confidence and improve self-esteem while learning active and healthy life skills, and achieving better academic outcomes.
