None of Us are Free Until All of Us are Free
Knowledge is power! The Racial Justice Working Group of DSA North Texas is devoting this year to educating our community on alternatives to policing. This year alone 897 people have been shot and killed by police. Dallas Police have killed 3 people and Fort Worth Police have killed 7 people in 2019.
In an effort to keep our communities safe the DSA North Texas Racial Justice Working Group will be hosting workshops on alternatives to policing. These workshops will provide Dallas/Fort Worth residents with different techniques for dealing with situations for which we would traditionally call the police. Your donation will help finance the costs of these workshops. Your decision to donate could very well save someone's life, and you'll get this awesome shirt to go with it if you donate enough.
Dallas/Fort Worth residents, please look out for the dates for our workshops in Spring 2020. If you are not in the area and would like more information on hosting a workshop in your city please reach out to the DSA North Texas Racial Justice Working Group at racialjustice@dsantx.org and we will gladly assist you with planning your own.
