Dear Friends and Family,
I wanted to take a moment to share an incredible opportunity that God has recently allowed me the blessing to be apart of.
Next summer I have the chance to travel to Zambia, Africa on a mission trip with Trail Missions. I want to share with you the "why" behind this trip for me, the details, and how you can play a part in my journey to spread God’s word.
My "Why": While at GCU I’ve had continuous curiosity in global missions and if that was something God had for me to step into or what that would look like. And I’m still heavily praying into that but more than anything Jesus says to go and spread the Good News to all nations and because of the work He’s done in my life and my personal relationship with Him I want nothing more than to show others all that they can have with a life in His name. This mission trip provides a unique chance to put my faith into action and share God's love with a community in need. Through this journey, I hope God will use me to be a beacon of hope, compassion, and service creating lasting change in the Zambia villages.
The Details: I will be joining an organization, Trail Missions, and a team of other like minded young adults to go into the varying villages (referred to as the bush) in the country of Zambia and evangelize to the people there. The people of Zambia have been corrupted by many demonic spirits and have put trust in witch doctors to “protect” their children and themselves. These are lies and manipulation from the devil and these people need the name of Jesus and the hope, love and security He offers. Trail Missions sends out multiple trips a year but my personal trip will take place from June 24-July 8, 2024, and your support means the world to me. I need to raise about $4000 to cover travel, food, lodging and other expenses while. The most expensive part of the trip is my airline ticket. A $25 donation will give me 200 miles of my 19,240 mile round trip journey.
So How May I Help? I am reaching out to you today, humbly asking for your support. Your prayers, encouragement, and financial assistance will enable me to participate in this journey for God’s glory. Prayers for safety, good health, and ease of travel (over 24 hours of travel:)) Words of encouragement and prayers against the devils attack on my team or I. And your contribution, if you feel lead financially, will make a significant impact on the lives we touch during our mission.
