Which animals can be sacrificed?

Permissible animals for Qurbani include sheep, goats, cows, and camels. They must meet specific requirements regarding age and health to be considered valid for sacrifice.

According to most Muslims, Qurbani is obligatory for every sane adult who possesses wealth beyond their basic needs. Typically, those who are required to pay Zakat are also expected to give Qurbani.

When is Qurbani performed?

Qurbani is performed after the Eid al-Adha prayer on the 10th, 11th, or 12th day of Dhul Hijjah. We do our best to carry out your Qurbani on the day of Eid itself, but it may extend until the 12th of Dhul Hijjah, by which time your Qurbani is guaranteed to be completed.
