Quetzal University Fund - Ensuring every Girl Pioneer obtains 15+ years of education.

We want every Girl Pioneer to be able to achieve her dreams, and for those Girl Pioneers who wish to attend a post-secondary educational institution, MAIA provides support through a program called the Quetzal University Fund (QF). The fund was launched by Ted and Connie Ning in February 2015, and it provides full-ride university scholarships to qualified Starfish graduates.

The mission of the Quetzal University Fund is to ensure that high-achieving MAIA students can pursue post-secondary education, regardless of their economic circumstances. We aim to prepare young women to become agents of change in their communities, country, and our world. Currently, there are 47 Starfish graduates attending university with support from of the Quetzal University Fund.
