Give for Global Health — Support ProMED’s 31st Year
Give the Gift of ProMED
For the past 31 years, ISID’s ProMED has been at the frontlines of global health, keeping the scientific community, healthcare workers, and the public informed about emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases. From early alerts of Ebola and Zika to H1N1 and other outbreaks, ProMED has consistently provided timely, accurate, and critical information that helps save lives worldwide.
As the landscape of global health evolves, ProMED is currently innovating to create a more modern, resilient, and sustainable system. But none of this would be possible without the generosity of our supporters. Your contributions directly help us maintain the quality, speed, and reach of our alerts and continue to serve a global community that depends on us.
This year, as we recognize 31 years of ProMED, we invite you to join us in supporting this vital work. Every gift ensures that ProMED continues to inform, connect, and protect the world against emerging health threats for decades to come.

I am not a scientist. I have been following ProMed for longer than I can remember. You are a model for civil society. Each person is a self-accouontable voice who can be heard by all, without partisan fear or favor, a space of open discourse where what matters is what the German philosopher Jurgen Habermas calls: "the unforced force of the better argument". Or in he words of Hans-Georg Gadamer and my own teacher, John Wild: "We are a cnversation".

Promed has been an important adjunct to my amazing journey since Dr. Harold Neu pointed me in the right direction almost 50 years ago.
