Family situation:

There are six members in my family—my grandparents, parents, one brother, and me. My father teaches at a private school and earns only about ₹8,000 a month, while my mother is a homemaker. With such a small income, even meeting our basic needs is a daily struggle, and continuing my education is a heavy burden for my family.



Shanti India provides free of charge full-time education for 310 of the most disadvantaged children from the Bodhgaya area.


Sponsoring one of the students of SHANTI INDIA school contributes to our action as a whole. For high school students (> class 10), your donation will be used entirely to cover their college, university or specialized institutions fee and exams, private tuition, textbooks, school equipment and transportation costs.
