Yoga Asana Classes at Bhakti SF

Join the most intimate and relaxing yoga classes in the city at Bhakti SF.

Through the physical asana practice and singing of kirtan we can release ourselves from a limiting storyline, whatever it is, and touch a deeper place (even if only for a moment). Then when we return to our day, we are standing with more compassion on the earth because we have trained ourselves to LET GO a little bit.

Asana, breathwork, meditation, chanting and surrender. Delivered with practical insight to great yoga wisdom. Classes go for about 90 minutes and include an optional kirtan meditation at the end.

Mondays 7:00 - 8:30 PM with Carly Boland

Wednesdays 12:30 - 1:30 PM with Carly Boland

Thursdays 4:30 - 6:00 PM with Monika Pinter

Carly's Bio:

Committed to teaching yoga as a method toward conscious living, Advanced Certified Jivamukti teacher Carly Boland offers her classes with sincerity, devotion, and compassion. In her class you can expect to move with breath (vinyasa), sweat, and reflect. Her light-hearted and comprehensive teaching style weaves yogic philosophy, Sanskrit, anatomy, skillful hands-on assists, inspiring music, and dedication to the lineage of her teachers artistically igniting fearless curiosity about Self, and connection to all those who share in this community of life. In her teaching, Carly creates an environment of community, both playful and profound. Drawing from her integrative dance, somatic and holistic health background, expect a well rounded class. The ultimate aim in every class is for all present to leave each class a little more of a vibrant, kind, steady, and joyful version of themselves, as teacher and students alike move on the compassionate path towards enlightenment. Carly has the rare opportunity of living and breathing yoga at the feet of her teachers, immersed in rich direct teachings from the founders of Jivamukti Yoga, Padma-ji Sharon Gannon and Shri David Life, to whom she is eternally grateful for their endless mentorship, generosity, teachings, wit, and love.

Moni's Bio:

Monika Pinter was born and raised in Hungary. she found yoga in 2015 after her life took a really hard turn and was immediately drawn to the practice of Jivamukti and its values of compassion, Bhakti and satsang. After practicing for several years, she decided to do the 300- hour Jivamukti training with Sharon Gannon and David Life in India at Govardhan Eco Village and completed her advanced training at Nandi with Giselle Mari and Wendy Klein in 2019.

Monika approaches her classes with kindness and precision and hopes to empower her students to feel the benefits of yoga beyond the physical body.
