POWER OF 2 INC. was founded in 2006 by the grieving family of 11-year-old Shatoria Peterson, who tragically lost her battle with Glioblastoma, a devastating form of brain cancer. In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, the family was moved to create an organization that would provide much-needed support to individuals and families navigating the difficult journey of grief and healing.

The primary mission of POWER OF 2 INC. is to offer comprehensive grief counseling services to those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The organization recognizes that grief affects people in different ways and at different stages, and therefore aims to provide customized counseling and support tailored to the specific needs of each individual.
