Power for All is a global coalition of 200 private and public organizations campaigning to deliver universal energy access before 2030 through the power of decentralized, renewable electricity (DRE).
2 billion people—almost a third of humanity—are without access to reliable energy, and the majority of them live in rural areas with no established method of energy delivery. Compared to traditional approaches, renewable, distributed energy is less expensive, faster to implement, and creates a sustainable pathway to the energy needs of the developing world.
Power for All’s mission is to accelerate this market transformation by working with public and private sectors to prioritize decentralized renewable energy development. We believe that access to energy is fundamental to human and economic development and modern, clean technology can now leapfrog slow, inefficient and centralized systems –– paving the way towards universal energy access.
