The Giant Pangolin, a rare and gentle creature, is on the brink of extinction in Kenya’s Nyekweri Forest. Deforestation and deadly electric fences threaten not only the pangolin but the biodiversity of this critical ecosystem.

The Pangolin Project is fighting to secure 25,000 acres of habitat, remove dangerous fencing, and build a sustainable conservation model in partnership with local communities. This isn’t just about saving a species—it’s about protecting ecosystems and creating lasting economic opportunities that benefit the land and the people who live there.

How You Can Make a Difference

At VSGD Careers, we’re taking action by turning job posts into conservation wins for the remainder of 2024. For every job post on our Facebook group, we ask for a donation of £80, which protects 1 acre of pangolin habitat for an entire year.

Our goal is to protect 100 acres – a vital step toward saving the Giant Pangolin and preserving biodiversity in Nyekweri Forest.

How do we post our job ad with a donation?

1. Donate a minimum of £80 and tick that your donation and comment will be displayed. 

2. Leave a comment with your organisation and name so we know how to identify your job posting submission

3. Go to VSGD Careers and post your job. Make sure to add in your story and what makes you enjoy working there. This will be flagged to our admin to admit it. If there are any issues drop hello@vsgd.co
