Veterans have sacrificed more for our country than anyone else, yet they are often not supported enough when they return home. Points for Patriots is a one of a kind non-profit that dedicates itself to bridging the divide between military and civilian families. The organization funds four unique programs that provide aid in a variety of ways, from subsidizing a scholarship for children of military families to receive school supplies, helping military spouses to build and launch a business, running a pet pantry, and investing in the development of future high school fellowship programs. Points for Patriots also donates proceeds to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a non-profit that devotes itself to providing treatment and care for veterans suffering from traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress. I am so glad that I have been able to help build an event that raises awareness and honors veterans.
