Help us support 50 families in 2025!

The work of Portland New Family Fund (PNFF) is near and dear to my heart. As a mother who was lucky enough to be able to afford, and receive doula care, I had access to invaluable resources and support in my pregnancy and postpartum journey that helped me better adjust to motherhood. I believe all families should have access to doula care that supports healthy pregnancies, positive births, and supported portpartum experiences leading to better health outcomes for entire families. PNFF provides free postpartum doula care to low-income families and I would love your help in raising money for this incredible organization to support 50 families in 2025! 

My work as a lactation consultant and perinatal occupational therapist also shows me daily, that families need better support to thrive in pregnancy and postpartum. Doulas have been shown to effectively reduce the need for birth interventions including lowering C-section rates and fewer medical birth interventions, to improve birth and postpartum outcomes for moms and babies.

Your gift will directly fund essential postpartum doula services, such as breastfeeding support, infant care education, and emotional support.
