Plunging for a Purpose 2026

We are taking the plunge with Waypoint to end homelessness, poverty, and violence!

Waypoint has been serving the community for 130+ years and is hosting Plunging for a Purpose, an event where teams raise funds to support those facing homelessness, housing instability, poverty, and violence.

Every year, Waypoint serves nearly 15,000 individuals with vital services, including:

• Housing Services - Supporting individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability with case management, shelter diversion, street outreach, and eviction prevention to help them find their path to safe housing and long-term stability.
• Domestic Violence Services- Providing free, confidential advocacy, safety planning, and resources to survivors.
• Survivors’ Program - Supporting families who have lost a loved one to homicide/vehicular homicide through an array of services.
• Child Care - Ensuring 200+ children receive safe, high-quality child care so parents can work or attend school.
