Support Us as We Take the Plunge to End Homelessness, Poverty & Violence!

Waypoint has been serving the community for 130+ years and is hosting Plunging for a Purpose, where teams raise funds to support those facing homelessness, housing instability, poverty, and violence—then take the plunge into an ice bath to show their commitment to change! This is exactly what makes our 5 Seasons community so special. We do hard things together. We support one another. And we have the opportunity to take that same energy outside the gym and use it to make an impact in Cedar Rapids.

Every year, Waypoint serves over 15,000 individuals with vital services, including:

• Housing Services – Supporting over 10,000 individuals with case management, landlord connections, homeless diversion, and eviction prevention services to help them secure stable housing and avoid homelessness.
• Domestic Violence Support – Offering free, confidential services to 2,000+ survivors and answering 7,000+ crisis calls annually.
• Survivors’ Program – Supporting 400+ individuals who have lost a loved one to homicide/Vehicular homicide or have experienced a violent crime.
• Child Care Scholarships – Ensuring 200+ children receive safe, high-quality care so parents can work or attend school.
