In July 2024, UWC Adriatic hosted the first ever 40 year reunion, with students from the first three generations (82-84, 83-85 and 84-86) returning once more to Duino.

At the reunion, a group of alumni from these 'Pioneer Generations' chose to do something extraordinary, to start raising funds for a full perpetual Endowed Scholarship – the ‘Pioneer Generations Endowment Scholarship’ - giving students scholarships to attend Adriatic not just for two years, but every year in perpetuity.  Just as they started many of the Duino traditions for those generations who followed, this legacy will ensure that future students will always be able to attend Duino, without having to worry about the cost.

This collective gift and the resulting perpetual scholarship will only be possible with contributions of all sizes. Each donation is an important contribution and has a precious symbolic value, precisely because it is made as a community that acts united. We hope that you will join by donating according to your own desire and possibilities, with the aim to establish the Endowment Scholarship over the next three years through long-term pledges and recurring gifts.
