Our Riveting SpeakerJoin us for an exciting presentation by Benjam Jones. Mr. Jones has 25 years in wildlife conservation with tenures at zoo-based conservation organizations and national wildlife institutions. As Houston Zoo's Vice President of Conservation and Education, he is responsible for the strategic direction of the Zoo's Conservation Education, Guest Engagement, and Wildlife Conservation departments. Mr. Jones received both a bachelor's and master's degree in the sciences from Texas A&M. He has over 17 years' experience in conservation education working for and with companies such as The National Audubon Society, Arthur Anderson (Accenture), Trinity River Audubon Association, and The Dallas Zoo. He has led many birding expeditions to the Caribbean and Central America. Interested in Science, education, and conservation, especially as they intersect: Mr. Jones is passionate about nature as a context for life-long learning, stronger communities, and enriched life. |
