For over 20 years, Phillip’s Wish has helped thousands upon thousands of homeless individuals and families throughout North Texas. Thanks to 5000 BLANKETS — Sony’s inspiring new movie that tells our story — we’re hoping to expand our reach to many more across North Texas and the country.  We’re now asking for your help in realizing this important mission.

 

For those who live outside the Dallas-Fort Worth area and would like to make a financial contribution to Phillip’s Wish, which will be used to purchase and distribute items for the homeless and families in need, please do so by donating today. If possible, please consider a monthly ongoing donation to help those in need year-round, whether through the intense heat of the summer or the freezing cold of winter.


             

Whatever you can give will be deeply appreciated and put to good use.  



If you live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and it’s convenient, please contact us at cyndibunch@verizon.net, and we’ll let you know the nearest drop-off location for your donations, including new or gently used blankets, sleeping bags, and warm winter garments – and/or toiletries and food items for our family food pantry.  Of course, financial contributions will also be deeply appreciated.

I just recently watched the movie 5000 Blankets. I recently had jury duty and was finally dismissed from it and wasn’t going to take the $20 for the one day being there because to me it wasn’t worth my time. Well today I had just finished watch the movie and not long after that I got an email from the courts trying to pay me and changed my mind just so I could donate the money to Phillip’s Wish. I figure it would be better to go there than to the courts, myself, or any of there so called organizations. The movie and the story inspired me to make that change and take the money so I could give it to yall. God Bless!

For 25 years I have been in Homeless outreach mainly in Springfield Illinois also short times in LA Denver and Chicago . 12 years with FHFH.org Farmers and Hunters feeding the hungry. Over 40,000 meals so far mainly deer meat . We moved to Branson Missouri 2 years ago would love to start a program like yours here . We just watched the movie on Pureflix was in tears ! I happened to turn on the movie about your story on PUREFLIX. My brother’s name, Derek, showed on the screen as one of the characters. He’s been gone 5 years, he died suddenly at 39. I’ve been struggling with his death so much lately, question God and asking why. The words the pastor said in the movie about not understanding the plan and Him not wanting us to go adrift had me in total shock - God is speaking to me through this movie! I have been thinking about providing blankets and body pillows to homeless in my area for months now. Maybe this is what God is also calling me to do?
