Let's Do Something Epic For Bronx Kids!

Pharos Academy Charter School is a K-12 public charter school located in the Longwood section of the Bronx, NY. Our mission is to develop scholars who communicate well, are intellectually curious, and solve problems using different approaches. We are unapologetically committed to educating Bronx kids and will stop at nothing to close all urban-education gaps; achievement, opportunity, access, STEM.  

Since 2015, we have outpaced our local school district in state exams and graduation rates; we continue to raise the bar each year!  Our graduation rate has increased by 32% since 2015. We are graduating Bronx kids at a 21% higher rate than the average Bronx HS graduation rate.  We believe that Bronx kids can and will achieve at high levels if challenged and loved.
