ABOUT PERK
PERK is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to Protecting the Educational Rights of Kids. PERK’s mission is to advocate for medical freedom, bodily autonomy, civil rights, parental rights and to protect the right to an education for high school students, college students, and elementary school age children. PERK has over 30,000 members throughout California, consisting of public employees, first responders, students and parents of children attending California schools in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Our Mission
Educational Rights:
Empower a coalition of advocates to impact policy that will guarantee the protection of educational rights and children’s rights.
Medical Freedom:
We engage communities and leaders on key issues impacting medical liberties.
Parental Sovereignty:
We stand together to defend and protect parental rights.
Advocacy & Education:
Using credible experts and sources, our advocacy efforts aim to educate the public on ways to engage in and actively be involved within the legislative process.
PERK works tirelessly to protect children, families, and parental right. PERK protects your right to work, travel, and live in society. PERK advocates for medical freedom and bodily autonomy, and to protect the citizens of California from unconstitutional mandates and Government overreach.
Over the past years we have seen California face some of the worst, most extreme times, and PERK did not back down. Instead, we took on the challenge and showed tremendous leadership in California and across the country. Because of your unwavering support, our efforts have produced result after result including bad bill wins, lawsuit victories, children protected, legislation vetoed, and city mandates that have been delayed, dropped, and pushed back.
PERK currently has filed 9 lawsuits related to medical freedom, parental rights and educations rights. Our lawsuits are expensive and we anticipate the legal fees will continue to increase as our legal teams aggressively fight for your freedoms in the courts.
We need your help to amplify our advocacy work, file new lawsuits, bring education and awareness to the issues, and continue to sustain the work we already do. We have more advocacy tools, resource guides, mandate prevention forms, opt out resources for parents, lawsuits, tips for parents, educational materials, advocacy trips to the capital, infographics, guided action on medical freedom issues, and more to share with you.
We respectfully ask for your support to help fund PERK’s advocacy, legal, and educational efforts.
Sincerely,
Amy Bohn
