Big News! We’re going all out with a powerful celebration of people like me and you! People Like Me and You is a combined song, video and social advocacy project. It’s about facing adversity, domestic violence prevention, and it's about hope, resilience, recovery and overcoming. People Like Me and You is also about the amazing power of community and all of us thriving, together. It's big, it's bold, and it's special. It involves a new song release, a kick-ass video, and plans for educational talks, workshops and resources. We have a world-class team on board and we want you to be part of it. We only have $1500 AUD left to raise! So please consider chipping in today to get your name in the video credits, and be part of something inspiring, impactful and exciting.
More info below in intro video: Who is Áine Tyrrell:
Resilience is one word to describe Áine Tyrrell’s remarkable journey. She escaped a decade of Domestic Violence with her three children by buying a 1966 Bedford Bus to redefine their narrative from one of victimhood to one of triumph.
With music deep in her DNA, Áine found the path back to herself through playing music. Despite the challenges of being a single mother on the road, she refused to let adversity silence her voice. Music and focusing on the road ahead became her rising after abuse. She discovered a purpose greater than herself, with her journey becoming a testament to resilience, a legacy she's determined to leave for her children.
Áine’s music sends a powerful message—that we are not defined by the hardships we endure, but by our resilience in overcoming them and the communities we build along the way.
