Help launch PeerPride's free crisis & peer support software!
PeerPride is a trans and BIPOC run direct service and consulting organization. We are peer support, crisis, suicidology and equity experts offering cultural competency training, equity assessments, curriculum development, crisis support and harm reduction education.
We are also home to the first of its kind open-source peer support software that gets closer to launch with every donation we get!
The PeerPride open source support program will allow any organization or agency to incorporate remote, confidential and anonymous peer support, via a hotline, chat space or text line, custom designed for the needs of the group. The software will be available for free, with PeerPride's team available for additional consulting, to help install it, modify it and work together with the organizations we support to build up a volunteer base, support policies and a curriculum. Our goal is to give opportunities for organizations run by and for marginalized people to create dedicated emotional support spaces -- without facing the financial barriers of expensive software and the logistical barriers of having to coordinate training programs and volunteer recruitment by themselves.
Every donation made to PeerPride brings us one step closer to bringing this software to the many organizations that need it to provide urgently needed crisis and community support services.
