In honor of Catherine Rebecca Ellis. We may have never had the chance to meet you, but your story and your memory have impacted us deeply. We met your dad in such an unexpected moment on a very hard day for him during the first few days of our month-long trip, and since then we have continued to keep him and your family in our prayers. To learn that you had such a heart for travel made the encounter feel even more meaningful. Meeting your dad reminded us to slow down, be more present, and live more intentionally throughout our journey…. appreciating the people beside us, the places around us, and the moments we so often rush past. From everything shared about you, you sound like such a beautiful and amazing soul. You reminded us so much of a dear friend and a beloved cousin we also lost far too soon, people we carry in our hearts every single day.
