Goal
The 8th National Gun Violence Awareness Day will fall on June 3. The day will kick off Wear Orange Weekend held June 4-5.
The Greater Englewood community will honor gun violence victims and survivor families during Wear Orange Weekend by hosting Peace Fest: Wear Orange Edition on Saturday, June 4th. This year’s event is organized by Moms Demand Action, Imagine Englewood If, Think Outside Da Block and We Grow Chicago. We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting this year’s event on the Peace Campus, 64th & Honore Street, from 2:00pm and 6:00pm.
This will be the 6th year that we come together in the Greater Englewood community for National Gun Violence Awareness Day and Wear Orange Weekend. Currently, we are asking for your support in the form of monetary donations to help cover the costs of the event at no charge to families. We greatly appreciate your support to make this year's event the best one yet.
