Goal

As a Profit With Purpose, we publish 5 articles a week in Spanish. To establish a reader-base of over 1-million Spanish-speaking farmers per year, we need your support.

Why is this important?

Discussion: In 2018, we provided free educational articles to over 414,772 producers and coffee producers and professionals in Latin America.

Collaboration: Coffee professionals across the Spanish-speaking world can stay aware of the latest industry developments.

Empowerment: Coffee producers can see what impact their work and business decisions can have on the supply chain.

We believe the supply chain is stronger when producers are part of the conversation.

How do we use your donation? We pledge to 100% of all donations for targetted advertising to rural coffee-growing communities via Facebook. Whilst this does not sound glamorous, it's highly efficient and enables us to target custom-built content to specific communities. For example, we could target a Spanish-language guide for "How to Monitor For & Prevent Coffee Leaf Rust" or A Producer’s Guide to Preparing Coffees For Export to deprived coffee growing regions across Central America.

For example, with a $25 USD donation, we can target up to 75,000 people over a two-day period. Of course, we could perform focus-groups in coffee-producing countries however, the costs such as transport/accommodation outweigh the benefits. We believe in digital, especially as the penetration of smartphone is extremely high in Latin American coffee-growing communities.

Note: Perfect Daily Grind has not monetized PDG Espanol and does not sell banner advertisements on the website. To date, the costs (such as translation, social media management etc.) have been financed through PDG's profits at an estimated  $25,000+ per year.
