Bradford is one of the worst areas in the UK for stray cats. Our goals is to make sure every cat has a safe place they can call home and to eliminate the endless suffering we see not the streets of Bradford. We know this is a huge task but we can't do it alone. It costs us £683 a month just to provide basics such as food and litter for the over 30 plus cats and kittens in our care. Our biggest challenge of all is vet bills which can cost us well over £1,000 per month and we currently owe our vets over £6,000!
Right now we are facing a crisis with funding. Lockdown restrictions have meant we cannot hold any of the fundraising events we heavily rely on in order to keep going. This is at a time when job losses are high, businesses are struggling and more and more people are giving up their cats due to financial problems. We are currently getting multiple requests a day to take in cats. Sadly, we see no end in sight so are relying entirely on public support in order to keep going.
We are a small rescue run entirely by volunteers so every penny goes on the cats. By giving a regular monthly donation it means we have money to rely on so we can keep on rescuing cats and getting them into the warm loving forever homes that they deserve. We cannot do it without your help.
By becoming a Pawprints Champion you can save cats like Annabelle below. Annabelle was rescued of the streets of Bradford after having three litters of kittens on the roof of an outdoor toilet. Annabelle was so poorly we weren't sure if she would survive, but she did. We were able to get Annabelle the treatment she needed and she now lives in her lovely home with her forever family.
