Goal
In honor of Patriots Day 2022 I've once again been challenged to run a half-marathon, but THIS time "they" said it has to be a real race....against other people. It's going to be a fast training ramp-up as I recover from some minor injuries, but I'm going to get 'er done!
My good friend, running mentor, and Candorful board member, Charlie Tillet, has challenged me to run the Dixon's Revenge Trail Race on April 30th in Rollinsford, NH. Sounds daunting to me!! Here’s the description from the website: “The Half Marathon is an out and back which has some fast rail trail, open fields, some single track and one big nasty hill.”

I am reaching out to you to ask for your support raising money for Candorful.
As most of you know, Candorful’s mission is to provide practice interviews and prep for transitioning military, veterans, and military spouses.
- Did you know that veterans and military spouses who landed phone interviews and fully participated in Candorful's prep and practice were 2.5 times more likely to land the job?!
- We’re off to an impactful start in 2022. With 110 awesome volunteer coaches supporting our military job candidates, we're making a HUGE difference in veteran and military spouse lives!
- We supported 1000 military job candidates in 2021 but we’d like to support and impact more than 1500 in 2022. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Now, a half-marathon may not seem like a huge feat to some of you, but at 63 years old, the concept of running through the woods and mud (yes, mud) is, shall we say, challenging? But, I mean, WHAT CAN GO WRONG?
AND to add to the pressure, another wonderful Candorful board member has pledged $25k if I can raise $25k! $50k would make a HUGE difference in our ability to scale!
I NEED YOUR HELP! Please make a donation so we can make a huge difference in the lives of transitioning military, veterans, and military spouses!
