The Downtown Denver Islamic Center (DDIC) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that invests in the future of our community by providing humanitarian services to our immigrant, refugee and neighbors in low-income households.

Our food pantry and grocery support provides essential support to those facing food insecurity. It is open to everyone to take what they need, when they need it. DDIC’s pantry stocks culturally-responsive, staple food items including grains, canned goods, fruits and vegetables, and other household staples like diapers and wipes.

YOUR SUPPORT IS CRUCIAL

In Denver, one in seven individuals struggles with hunger. Our food pantry is here to help, but we can't do it without your help. 

The demand for food has increased dramatically since SNAP benefits ended on April 30, 2026.

✅ Since then we have seen a 32% increase in families served each month

✅ In the past 7 months, DDIC has distributed 128,199 pounds of food (42% more than expected)

✅ We've served 24,100 people from January to July 2026 (40% more than anticipated)
