Operation NorCal Wildfire Emergency Relief Effort

In one day Operation Blankets of Love (OBOL) made an 800-mile emergency round trip run to the Yolo County Animal Shelter, delivering $10,000 worth of pet food and other supplies to help neighboring Northern California shelters as they cope with suffering animals displaced from the nearby firestorms.

OBOL donated crucial pet supplies including:

  • At least 75 wire crates and carriers in various sizes
  • 100s of collars, leashes and harnesses of all sizes
  • 1,000+ pounds of dry dog and cat food and treats
  • Several 100 cans of wet dog and cat food
  • 100 pet beds and kuranda beds in various sizes
  • 150 plus dog and cat toys
  • Water and food stainless steel bowls
  • 100s of blankets and towels

If we don’t stand up for them, who will?
