Opening Doors to Hope: Preparing Kelly Children's Home for Its First Residents!

What a journey it’s been! We’re thrilled to share that construction on Kelly Children’s Home is almost complete—what an incredible milestone! Thanks to a generous grant, we’ve been able to handle the majority of the renovations on the former 2nd Baptist Church here in Washington, NC.  But now, as we approach the final stages, we need your help to cover the must-have essentials that will ensure we’re ready to welcome our first residents in early 2025.  There are still vital needs that must be met before the doors can open. These include:

• A robust security system to ensure the privacy and safety of our children
• 2025 Meal Fund ensuring meals provide healthy, balanced food for our residents
• Appliances and supplies for the kitchen, classroom, and computer lab
• Furniture, linens, and essentials to make our home warm and welcoming
• Kitchen equipment like pots, pans, and utensils to ensure we can prepare healthy meals
• And so much more…
